As a teacher I enjoy making yoga accessible to everyone as I truly believe every single person can benefit from a regular yoga practice. Leading others on a path of reconnecting all parts of themselves, physically, mentally, and emotionally, so they may feel more whole and complete, is a passion of mine.

In my classes you can expect a physical practice that will bring body awareness as we focus on stretching, strengthening, and moving energy through the body. I like to incorporate breath work, meditation, tapping, and qigong movements to move stagnant energy and increase the flow of the lymphatic and circulatory systems. In class we alternate between practicing intentional movements and savoring moments of stillness giving us time to withdraw from the external stimuli allowing us to reconnect to the inner peace that is already present within ourselves.

  • Why Yoga?

A regular yoga practice can increase strength, mobility, and flexibility while possibly decreasing pain. It can also strengthen the mind allowing one to destress and find peace again. There are many proven scientific benefits that come from a regular yoga practice. I love that Science has finally caught up to prove what Ancient Yogis already knew. Yoga aids those who practice the path of yoga in feeling more whole and complete as it brings a deeper sense of awareness to the body, mind, & spirit.

  • Why Pilates?

Pilates is a form of exercise that brings more awareness to the body by isolating and targeting specific muscles. Pilates training mostly focuses on using the resistance of your own body weight to build strength, flexibility, and tone muscles. What else to expect from Pilates? Longer leaner muscles and an overall improved posture! Performed on a mat this exercise is an all levels practice.
